Residential Fabric/Canvas

windows awnings for shades
Creating a residential canvas with resistant fabric can allow you to upgrade your pool area, backyard, and virtually any part of your home. We know that this is not something that would work great in all homes in all areas. We do a lot more of these in backyards than we do in front yards for example. If you want to have one of these installed in your front yard though we can help you out. These can also serve as a way to protect your cars from the sun if you keep them outside of your garage.

How Fabric Awnings Fit In Homes
We know that a lot of times people associate fabric awnings with storefronts and restaurants. Can they be used in homes though? Yes, they can, they can actually look great in backyards. We can create an umbrella-like design to have you feel like you are at a 5-star resort in the comfort of your own home. This is just one of the many ideas that we could potentially help you contextualize any idea that you may have in mind. We like to think that we’ve created plenty of structures that we are proud of in the past. If you want to use those structures as a form of inspiration you are welcome to do so.

Can The Actual Fabric Be Replaced?
In general, what we are going to be doing with these types of structures is putting the fabric over a frame or even just attached to poles. In any case, if the fabric wears out or you have some type of incident that creates a hole in the fabric then, by all means, we are going to be able to repair or replace the actual fabric and you can have a structure that is going to look as good as new.

How We Attach Awnings To Homes
The way that we ultimately attach awnings to homes will depend entirely on the type of awning that we are building. Usually, with canvas awnings, we are going to be adding some type of support structure on the walls of buildings. From there we are going to be able to attach the cables that we need to be able to support the canvas. As we mentioned though, in the end, it’s all going to depend on what you want to build and how you want to set it up.

Can I Add An Awning On A Rental Property, or Without HOA Approval?
Who do you need permission from to be able to build an awning? It’s always going to be a good idea to read through the guidelines set up by your HOA if there are any. Some areas are very strict with what you can or cannot build. If you have a rental property you are most likely going to need to check with the owner before you do anything. If you need to get any type of approval we can help you with the paperwork that could be needed.
